Four Card Poker is played with a standard deck of 52 playing cards. All players compete against the dealer.
Ante/Play
Players may place an Ante wager at the start of each hand. The players are dealt five cards and the dealer six cards. Each player and the dealer will use the best four cards in their hand to make a four-card hand. If the player dislikes his hand, he can fold and forfeit the Ante. Otherwise, he must make the Play bet in order to stay in the game. The Play bet must be between one and three times the Ante, NOT TO EXCEED $100 COLLECTIVELY BETWEEN THE ANTE AND PLAY bets.
After all players have made their decision, the dealer will turn over his 6 cards and pick the best four. The dealer will compare his hand with each player’s hand. If the player beats the dealer, he will be paid even money on both the Ante and Play bets. If the dealer beats the player, the player loses his Ante and Play bets. In the event of a tie, the player wins.
